Soldem as a processor of customer registers

When providing sales and customer service, we contact customers based on customer registers received from our client companies. The client companies are register controllers, and Soldem is the data processor. You can find the privacy statements for customer registers on our client companies’ own websites. We ask that any privacy-related inquiries and information requests concerning your personal data be directed directly to the register controller, i.e., your service provider company.

This privacy statement is based on the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which establishes the rights of EU citizens regarding data protection and the confidential handling of personal data.

Soldem processes and uses customers’ personal data that is necessary for conducting business operations, providing effective customer service, and taking appropriate commercial actions.

Soldem does not use personal data for direct marketing or profiling.

All personal data is processed appropriately and in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.

Principles of Register Protection

All personal data is processed in accordance with good data protection and data security principles. The processing of personal data is limited according to job duties to only those Soldem employees who have personal user credentials and whose position and responsibilities require access. Our staff are bound by confidentiality obligations and have signed data protection agreements.

Data Retention Period

Customer personal data is retained only for as long as the purpose of processing requires, or as long as the law requires the register controller to maintain it.

Rights of the Data Subject

Every person has the right to check whether we process data concerning them and what data we process in accordance with applicable law. A request to inspect data must be made directly to the service provider. Contact information can be found on the service provider’s website.

Every person has the right to request correction, blocking, restriction, or deletion of incorrect, unnecessary, incomplete, or outdated personal data. A request must be made directly to the service provider. Contact information can be found on the service provider’s website.

The register controller/processor continuously develops its operations and reserves the right to modify this privacy statement. Legislation may also change, so customers should review the content of the privacy statement at regular intervals.
